COOPERSTOWN AREA

Dinner:  Mel’s at 22 in Cooperstown, offers consistently great meals and live entertainment on the weekends.

Lunch:  Hawkeye Grill in Cooperstown, enjoy sitting on the veranda at the Otesaga Hotel and taking in beautiful Otsego Lake with a good meal.

Breakfast and Lunch: Stagecoach Coffee on Pioneer Street is one of our favorites for freshly roasted coffee in the mornings or a special coffee drink later in the day.  They have a great lunch selection too!

ONEONTA AREA

Dinner: Bella Michael’s on River Street has a great atmosphere for classic italian dining – always a great meal with wonderful service.

Lunch: If you are looking for someplace special for lunch or a late evening option for a quick bite, then the Yellow Deli is our pick.  Homemade breads for sandwiches, fresh soups and salads and a beautiful selection of iced drinks and teas in a unique atmosphere.

Breakfast and Lunch: Nick’s Diner is a local area favorite offering all of the typical ‘diner’ fare (breakfasts, lunches and dinners), plus pizza!

Activities and More

Brewery Ommegang – only 7 miles away you can take a tour, enjoy the gift shop or grab a bit to eat at their café.

Canoe & Kayak Rentals and Sales – Just around the corner you can walk there!  Relax with a trip down the Susquehanna River

NEW Cooperstown Rail Trail – Rail Explorers USA   – a spectacular 12 mile round trip on electric pedal assist motors – within 5 minutes of Old World Village!

Crumhorn Lake State Fishing Access – 62 Acres with a variety of fish!

Fly Creek Cider Mill – My families all time favorite!  Feed the ducks, shop, watch the apple press and eat your way through the experience.

Goodyear Lake Water Access for Swimming or Fishing –

Grapevine Farms – Cobleskill NY, this is one of those destination shopping for the girls!  Room after room of amazing gifts to choose from and a café as the perfect excuse to keep you there

The TePee – in Cherry Valley, it is what is says…enter a tepee for some unique gifts and an amazing view to take in.   I love to eat at their Tepee Pete’s Chuck Wagon for an awesome home cooked meal outside!
