COTTAGE / CHALET/ SUNSET LODGE CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS
Checking in instructions will be sent to your email used to book your reservations. You can use our address 116 Glavin Lane Maryland, NY 12116 for your GPS directions. (Please be sure to find our welcome sign as some GPS apps take you to the wrong driveway – one short.) Once inside Old World Village you will follow signs leading you to your cottage. In the email you’ll be given a 4 digit code to get in using our keyless entry. This allows you to check in at your convenience, any time after 4:00 pm on the day of your arrival.
CHECK OUT
For all units we will provide the below check off list of basic cleaning instructions before your departure. We work very hard to provide a clean and memorable stay and can only do this by relying on guests to leave them as you would a family or friends.
CLEANING CHECK LIST FOR RENTERS
To avoid additional charges here is quick cleaning check list:
- Remove all garbage and place in dumpster located at entrance to village, recyclables go in can next to dumpster.
- Clean and drain all dirty dishes. Don’t forget the coffee pot!
- Remove used bed sheets & pillow cases ONLY and place on couch.
- DO NOT REMOVE bedspread, comforter, mattress pad or decorative pillows (these get cleaned separately).
- Leave all used towels on bathroom floor.
- Remove all cigarette butts from porch dispenser.
- Pick up any garbage around rental and campfire rings.
- Don’t forget to check for remaining personal items!
The responsible party will lose portion or all of deposit if site is not clean on first inspection. Make sure that there is no trash including empty cans, perishable food and cigarette butts ect. left in cottages.
