The Cooperstown/Oneonta Region

The Cooperstown and Oneonta regions in Central NY has a ton to offer for visitors and year-round residents alike.  It’s one of the reasons we love living here!  We boast world class attractions like the National Baseball Hall of Fame, the Glimmerglass Festival, the Fenimore Art Museum and the Farmers’ Museum located only a short drive from our property.  At the north end of Otsego Lake (aka Glimmerglass) you will find Glimmerglass State Park and Hyde Hall, an historic 1800’s mansion of the Clarke Family recognized for it’s cultural significance.  Just a short drive away in the Oneonta Area you will find the Foothills Performing Arts Center and the Oneonta Theatre, a downtown area that is undergoing revitalization and more.  In nearby East Meredith, you can enjoy a day at the Hanford Mills Museum.

If you’re looking for Baseball, you’ve come to the right place!  The Cooperstown and Oneonta regions provide many opportunities including the well-known Doubleday Field, Cooperstown Dreams Park, Cooperstown All Star Village (in Oneonta), Cooperstown Baseball World and more.  For baseball memorabilia and more – you can’t beat the Village Main Street shops which include the Cooperstown Bat Company and Mickey’s Place.

Our region also has one of Central New York’s Best Beverage Trails that includes Brewery Ommegang, the Fly Creek Cider Mill, the Cooperstown Distillery (and their associated Main Street Beverage Exchange), Dobler’s Brewery, Cooperstown Brewing Company, Pail Shop Vineyards, Rustic Ridge Winery and Bear Pond Winery.  Most of these establishments also offer great food along with their amazing beverages!
